Volume of deliverables – Issued OWIC and Passports more than 500 thousands

System Brief                   – Oversea workers from Thailand and Malaysia who are not having passports can apply Passports and OWIC. They needed to submit applications attached personal data to confirm Myanmar nationality to the Oversea Employment Supervisory Committee (OESC) offices in Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, Myawaddy, Kawthaung and Tachileik border gates respectively. In the OESC offices, National Verification Section confirmed Myanmar Nationality and passed to SB section. When SB approved, OESC uploaded application and persoanl data copies to the SB’s Data Center at Yatanarpon Teleport. SB, Myanmar Passport Issuing Board (MPIB) and Immigration department downloaded the applications and personal data copies, and went on verification. Decision of approval and reject (with reason) are reported to the MPIB. MPIB updated approval/rejection status to the Data Center Server. Then OESC offices accessed the status and printed and issued Passports and OWICs for the approved workers. Finally issued to the corresponding Oversea Workers. OESC Office updated issuance information to the Data Center Server.
